Through the love of Jesus we serve our diverse community on its journey of faith and understanding.
 

As a United Methodist Church, our vision is to:

Build a faith-forming community that provides a place of spiritual growth
for all:

• We strengthen, challenge and sustain spiritual growth for all ages;
• We nurture and provide strong leadership for growing in faith; and
• We foster many groups and opportunities for spiritual formation.

Transform Lives Through:

• Worship and music so all may know and connect with God;
• Outstanding hospitality that welcomes and invites people to faith in Jesus Christ; and
• The discovery, growing and sharing of our spiritual gifts.

Bridge the traditions of spiritual exploration and academic achievement in
the university community by:

• Sharing unity between faith and knowledge to enrich and strengthen our university relationships;
• Developing partnerships that support ministries within and outside the church;
• Developing new styles and ways of ministry to reach students; and
• Providing support and resources for students and their families while attending college.

Excel in urban ministry through:

• Sidewalk Sunday School;
• Strengthening our homeless outreach (Shower Program, I-HELP, Potter’s House, Project Homeless Connect);
• Addressing literacy needs in our community; and
• Developing new opportunities for ministry in our urban setting.

Nurture a vibrant faith in children and young families through:

• Supporting young parents in providing outstanding Christian education for their children; and
• A nurturing community where children and young families grow in their love of God and neighbor.
