Tempe First UMC engages the community and world around us by sharing God’s love and call to faithful service and justice. Our commitment to urban ministry and mission provides multiple opportunities for you to participate in exciting places of service and caring.

If you have a passion for reaching out beyond the walls of the church, for sharing Christ's compassion in the world and working for social justice, then we invite you to share in these ministries:

• our outreach to the homeless
• a variety of other programs that serve Tempe or the greater Phoeneix area
• our ministries that extend beyond our own metro area

NEWSFLASH!

WE ALWAYS NEED WATER!!! The desert is warm... imagine not having a home with an AC always running. Our homeless neighbors need water to stay healthy during these hot months of the year. We hand out water bottles whenever we have them available. If you'd like to donate some, just bring them to the church office. Thank you!
