Current Adult Sunday School Classes

Several adult Sunday school groups are offered during the adult education time from 10:45 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. every Sunday. Join us!

Our new Bible 101 class is forming!

This new class will be starting on April 6th, and will take place in the Smart Lounge. It will be led by Rev. Valerie Fairchild, and will cover the who, what, when, where, why, and especially the how of reading the Bible.

Currently, we're offering four on-going classes:

  • Numa Bible Study. This group is for our college students and young adults. Come deepen your understanding of Scripture and form meaningful relationships with God and with others! The Numa group gathers in the Wesley Lounge, upstairs in the Baker Center.
  • Talk Back. You’ve heard this morning’s sermon — now it’s your turn! Come share your insights about the major points of the sermon and how it might impact your life this week. A visit from the preacher of the day plus a devotion time of Scripture reading and prayer are also part of this class. This group meets in the Baker Center.
  • What in the World Is Going On? Explore the latest news stories, issues, and current events in this very up-to-date discussion group. We use a weekly e-mailed curriculum called FaithLink that connects our United Methodist faith with what's going on in the world. The class is held in the Fireside Lounge.
  • Dig Into the Bible. Delve deeply into books of the Bible with this lively, open discussion group. We enjoy the give-and-take of opinions and often continue until noon!

We hope to see you at one of these great classes! If you have any questions, please contact us.
