I lived in Flagstaff, AZ from the age of six until two years ago. My home church was Trinity Heights UMC and I was blessed with great nurturing, encouragement, and opportunities to be in ministry. When my pastor husband, John, and I felt God’s call to enter into ministry, we began seminary, retired from our careers (teaching for me and law enforcement for John), sold our home of 24 years, and moved off the mountain. John is now pastor of Calvary UMC in the west valley and I am blessed to be appointed here. I love the variety of ministries that I am involved in, including adult education, youth groups, encouraging prayer, and home/hospital visits. My husband and I have two terrific children, both grown and married to wonderful spouses.
