The men’s fellowship at Tempe First UMC is a place for fun and friendship, a place to explore deeper questions of faith and life and build strong relationships with one another.

We meet every Tuesday morning, bright and early, at 6:30 a.m. at Coco’s Restaurant (in Mesa, at Dobson and Baseline) for an hour of Bible study and conversation, breakfast, prayer and mutual support. Our Bible Study is highly interactive, a time for conversation, sharing and discussion about how we live our faith. Our focus is to grow in our life of faith and support each other in the difficult role of being men in today’s world with the multiple responsibilities and challenges we face in our work, our relationships, and Christian life.

We also hold an annual men’s retreat in late January or early February for a weekend of fun, relaxation, fellowship and spiritual growth. We do great music together, reflect on issues of faith, struggles in our life and worship in a beautiful setting in the mountains. Our retreat is a time for renewal of body and spirit and to grow in our friendship together.
