Habitat for Humanity Build Dates!

It's hard hat time! That's right, we're getting ready for two more Habitat for Humanity build days: Saturdays April 12th and May 3rd. We're getting our crews together now. If you have any questions, or if you'd like to participate, please contact us.


Valley Interfaith Project (VIP) Meeting.

Sunday, May 4th, just after the 9:30 a.m. worship service.

All church members and friends are invited to come and share their stories, concerns, and experiences regarding health care, wages, education, housing, financial stress, etc. Our goal is to begin to envision and achieve solutions to benefit everyone in our community. TAKE PART IN OUR ANNUAL CONFERENCE MISSION PROJECT! This year's Annual Conference Mission Project is Happy Feet! Many people are in need of good, clean socks. United Methodists throughout our conference are asked to bring socks to their church to be distributed by the conference to local mission efforts. We're looking for new socks: any size, any kind, any color. We need your help!


Mother-Daughter-Friend Banquet

Saturday, May 10th, at 11:30 a.m.

Bring your mother, bring your daughter, bring your friend to enjoy a delicious lunch and entertainment honoring our mothers. Tickets are on sale on the patio between worship services.


Credit Union Drive

Sunday, May 18th, after worship.

The United Methodist Federal Credit Union will sponsor a membership drive at Tempe First UMC. This is a full-service financial institution, and they'll give $20 to Tempe First UMC for every member who joins. There will be a representative on the patio between services.


Vacation Bible School is coming!

June 22-26, 5:30-8:00 p.m.

This year's theme is Beach Party: Surfin' Through the Scriptures. Classes will be available for three-year-olds up to fifth graders. There will be an adult class on "Faith and Film." Middle school and high school students will be needed as helpers. Plan to join us, and invite your friends and neighbors! If you have any questions, please contact us.
